Padel Court Glass Buyer’s Guide: Panels, Holes, Edges and Packing
Padel court glass forms part of a complete playing enclosure. Buyers need more than nominal panel dimensions: hole coordinates, countersinks, edge finish, flatness, markings, hardware interfaces, packing sequence and spare-panel strategy should all be fixed before production.
Start with the approved court system drawings
Issue the full court layout, panel schedule and hardware drawings. Identify every panel type, quantity, thickness, height, width, hole diameter, countersink and coordinate datum.
Do not rely on a generic panel list when posts, doors or corner details differ between systems.
Specify heat treatment and quality
State the required tempered-glass standard, fragmentation requirement, permanent marking and any heat-soak testing. Define dimensional, hole-position, bow, roller-wave, edge and visual acceptance criteria.

Protect holes and edges in installation
Polished edges and accurately processed holes reduce assembly problems, but site handling remains critical. Use appropriate sleeves, gaskets and washers and avoid direct metal-to-glass contact.

Plan spares and export packing
Order spare panels by type and mark crates to match the installation sequence. Define interleaving, moisture protection, lifting access, crate dimensions, container loading and unloading equipment.
